Kyle Higdon, 29 of Centreville, entered a plea of guilty to burglary and theft charges in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court on June 2, 2015.  He was sentenced to 6 years incarceration, all but one year was suspended.  Upon his release from jail, Higdon will be on supervised probation and was also ordered to pay in excess of $1,500 in restitution to the victim.

In April of 2015 the victim reported to law enforcement that their Centreville, Maryland home had been burglarized and property was stolen from the residence.  Police conducted an investigation and were able to locate several of the stolen items and linked the burglary to Higdon.

Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Doud prosecuted this case.
